Engineering for the Extreme

Unlike brass fittings which can soften or corrode under high thermal load, this stainless steel fitting maintains its structural integrity at exhaust temperatures. The kit features a 1/8 NPT (National Pipe Taper) male thread, the industry standard for manifold and bung taps. The compression side accepts any standard 1/4″ (6.35mm) outer diameter probe or tube. When the compression nut is tightened, the internal ferrule deforms against the probe, creating a gas-tight mechanical seal that prevents exhaust leaks and securely holds the sensor in place against the pressure of the exhaust stream.

Adjustable Depth

One of the key benefits of using a compression fitting for EGT sensors is the ability to adjust the insertion depth. This allows the tuner to position the sensor tip precisely in the center of the exhaust flow for the most accurate reading, regardless of the manifold pipe diameter.
