By bundling all four main header connectors and the high-current DTP power connector into a single SKU, Haltech ensures that you have exactly the right keyed housings and terminals to fully populate the device, eliminating the risk of sourcing incompatible parts.

Engineering & Construction

The Nexus R5 utilizes a sophisticated array of AMP Superseal 1.0 connectors to manage its inputs and outputs. This kit includes all four specific keys: 34-Pin Key 1, 26-Pin Key 1, 34-Pin Key 2, and 26-Pin Key 3. Each housing is physically polarized to fit only its designated port on the VCU, preventing disastrous mis-connections. Additionally, the kit includes a Deutsch DTP 4-Pin connector, which handles the primary power input for the R5’s internal PDM functions. The DTP connector is rated for continuous high current (up to 25A per pin), ensuring that the VCU can reliably drive fuel pumps, fans, and solenoids without voltage starvation.
