The Elite 1500 Basic Universal Wire-in Harness is designed for the professional builder who demands total control over the vehicle’s electrical architecture. Unlike the Premium variant, this “Basic” harness omits the integrated fuse and relay box. This makes it the perfect choice for race vehicles equipped with a solid-state Power Distribution Module (PDM) or for installations where the user intends to utilize an existing, high-quality chassis harness for power supply. By stripping the harness down to its essentials—the ECU connectors and the signal wires—it offers a slimmer profile that is easier to route through tight spaces and lightweight racing chassis.

Engineering for Custom Integration

Despite its simplified form factor, the Basic harness refuses to compromise on quality. It features the same high-spec, color-coded, and labeled automotive-grade wiring found in the premium kits. The harness connects directly to the Haltech Elite 1500 ECU and provides flying leads for all inputs and outputs, including injection, ignition, and auxiliary controls. Critical signals like the Crank and Cam position sensors are protected by shielded, twisted-pair cabling to reject electromagnetic interference, ensuring the ECU receives a clean, noise-free signal even at high RPM.

This harness is ideal for “tucked” wire installations where the builder wants to hide the relays and fuses out of sight, rather than using the standard Haltech fuse box. It allows for the creation of a truly bespoke electrical system where the harness is terminated precisely to the lengths required by the specific engine bay layout.

This is a Universal product requiring manual termination of the engine-side connections.
