The Elite 2500 + Toyota 2JZ “No Ignition Harness” Terminated Harness Kit is a comprehensive engine management package designed for builders who want the ease of a plug-and-play engine harness but require the flexibility to run a custom ignition system. This kit includes the powerful Elite 2500 ECU and a terminated engine harness that handles all fuel injection, sensor, and auxiliary functions, but explicitly leaves the ignition circuit separate. This is the ideal solution for setups utilizing a distributor, a mechanical magneto, or a completely custom coil-on-plug arrangement that doesn’t match standard layouts.
Engineering for Flexibility
The main engine harness is pre-terminated for the 2JZ engine’s sensor locations and utilizes Bosch EV1 injector connectors, ready for high-flow aftermarket injectors. It includes an integrated fuse and relay box to handle power distribution. However, instead of a fixed ignition sub-harness, this kit supplies a 1200mm Ignition Extension Harness. This “flying lead” extension allows the installer to wire up whatever ignition system the build demands, whether it’s a factory igniter, a CDI system, or a non-standard coil configuration. This flexibility prevents unused connectors from cluttering the engine bay.
