Nexus Integration for Late FD: Adaptor Harness for S7/S8
The Nexus S2/S3 Plug ‘n’ Play Adapter Harness brings the power of Haltech’s Nexus VCUs to the Series 7 and 8 Mazda RX-7 (1996-2002). This harness connects the factory 4-row ECU header directly to a Nexus S2 or S3 unit, enabling modern control over the 13B-REW without custom wiring.
Engineering for the Nexus Platform
This harness maps the FD’s sensors and actuators to the Nexus VCU. It supports the factory crank angle sensor, metering oil pump, and sequential turbo solenoids (Nexus S3 recommended for full twin turbo support). The harness includes an auxiliary I/O connector for adding aftermarket sensors like wideband O2 and fuel pressure. An air temp sensor is included for Speed Density conversion.
