Nexus VCU Integration for the AP1 S2000

The Nexus S2/S3 Plug ‘n’ Play Adapter Harness for Honda S2000 AP1 enables the installation of Haltech’s cutting-edge Nexus series VCUs into the 1999-2003 chassis. Designed specifically for the AP1’s connector configuration, this adapter allows you to run either the Nexus S2 or Nexus S3, bringing PDM technology and advanced engine management to the S2000 platform.

Engineering Deep-Dive: VCU Technology

The Nexus series combines ECU and PDM functions. While the S2000’s factory wiring limits the direct use of the PDM for all vehicle circuits, the Nexus VCU offers superior engine control speed and data logging compared to standard ECUs. The adapter harness maps the F20C’s crank/cam sensors, VTEC solenoid, and other critical I/O to the Nexus VCU. It also provides an auxiliary port for adding additional sensors directly to the VCU.
