AC Schnitzer Step 1 Air Intercooler BMW F2x | F3x

The AC Schnitzer charge air cooler lowers the high temperature of the intake air resulting from the charging, thus ensuring better filling of the combustion chamber. Since cooler air contains more oxygen than hot air at the same volume, the AC Schnitzer high-performance charge air cooler supplies more oxygen to the combustion chamber. This results in more stable engine performance and higher torque.

An 80% larger air intake area and over 60% more charge air volume – the AC Schnitzer high-performance charge air cooler offers noticeable advantages over the standard charge air cooler due to its size and its stepped design. Excellent cooling properties are achieved with the high-performance network. This innovative development is a guarantee for a lasting and homogeneous power development of the engine. Even at high outside temperatures, the engine power remains noticeably more stable.

In addition, the lower temperatures during the combustion process provide further advantages: the engine has a lower tendency to knock and the thermal load on the pistons is also reduced. This increases the service life of the motor.
