Overview
The Capristo exhaust sytem is a backpressure monitored exhaust system with two exhaust valves for the Audi RS6 | RS7 C7. This system is made of 1.4828 (T309) stainless steel.
The exhaust valves are back pressure-controlled and user programmable. A built in limit prevents reaching dangerous pressure levels. There is a control unit for monitoring the back pressure. This control unit provides the ability to individually program the back pressure one would like to have the valves open or close. The portion of back pressure resulting in a loss of performance is filtered out. This way, one can reach the maximum performance. Therefore, this sports exhaust combines all advantages in both the lower and higher range of revolutions (rpm), since the back pressure can be exactly controlled to enable the engine to gain the maximum performance. The programmable control unit features an illuminated display showing all functions in plain text in 3 different languages (German, English and Italian) and provides 3 basic modes to be operated via a remote control, namely:
- Cruise mode – the exhaust gas valves open later
- Sports mode – the exhaust gas valves open earlier
- Open mode – the exhaust gas valves remain open
In both the cruise mode and sport mode, one can individually program when the exhaust gas valves shall open. One big advantage is that the control unit recognizes the driv’s operation characteristics. If the driver accelerates aggressively, this is identified by our device by the kind of back pressure that is generated, and the exhaust gas valves open immediately. Usual acceleration results in a later opening of the exhaust gas valves.

Warranty Info
CAPRISTO® guarantees its exhausts for a total period of 3 years from the date of purchase (i.e. the invoice date), as long as your CAPRISTO® Exhaust was purchased directly via CAPRISTO® or one of its authorized re-sellers. All electronic components carry a 1-year warranty. Product warranties are non-transferable. The warranty is limited to the exchange or repair of the defective part, and not the entire exhaust, unless needed. A situation in which the entire exhaust is defective is extremely unlikely. Transportation costs and labor as well as other claims for compensation for damages are not part of our guarantee.
All our sports exhaust systems are designed on the basis of serial cars. Power enhancements, turbocharger modifications or other changes in design, which entail an increase in emission temperatures, may alter your CAPRISTO® Exhaust, hence voiding its warranty. Any modifications on our products without consulting us before, result in an immediate expiration of our warranty.
Subject to a claim being made during the applicable Warranty Period and meeting the other conditions of this agreement, Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty is that Seller will repair or replace the defective Seller’s Products or, in the case of other Warrantied Items, re-perform the defective service. Customer shall be responsible for all other costs and expenses, including, without limitation, removing, shipping goods, and reinstalling any products. Customer hereby acknowledges on a continuing basis that any exclusive and/or limited remedies available in this Agreement are reasonable and sufficient and that they will not fail of their essential purpose even if Customer may not take advantage of them in some circumstances by their terms.
