This adaptor eliminates the reliance on the aging, capacitor-leak-prone factory ECU, replacing it with a robust, feature-rich motorsport computer capable of managing high-boost applications and modern fuel systems.

Engineering for the 4G63T

This harness is designed to interface with the multi-plug arrangement found in the Evo 1-3 and GSR/RVR models. It correctly handles the 4G63’s unique 6-wire stepper motor idle control valve, ensuring stable idle regardless of electrical load or engine temperature. The harness also supports the factory wastegate solenoid and fuel pump relay logic. A key upgrade facilitated by this harness is the conversion from the restrictive Karmann Vortex airflow meter to a Speed Density system using the included air temperature sensor and the Elite’s onboard MAP sensor, removing a major bottleneck in the intake tract.
