Classic EVO Power: Elite Plug ‘n’ Play Adaptor for EVO 4-8
The Haltech Elite Plug ‘n’ Play Adaptor Harness is the key to modernizing the engine management on your Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8. This harness bridges the factory ECU header to a Haltech Elite 1000 or 1500 ECU, allowing for full programmable control of the 4G63 engine. It supports all 5-speed manual transmission models (including the USDM EVO 8 and Eclipse 2G Turbo), providing a reversible, non-destructive installation path.
Adaptability and Control
This adaptor harness retains factory dashboard functionality and supports the vehicle’s original sensors. It includes an intake air temperature sensor to facilitate a conversion to Speed Density tuning, removing the restrictive MAF sensor. The auxiliary I/O connector allows for the addition of critical tuning inputs like wideband O2 and ethanol content sensors. Note: The Elite 1000 ECU does not support the Intercooler Water Spray function on the EVO 7 & 8; an Elite 1500 is recommended if this feature is required.
