The Nexus Universal V8 – GT150 (USCAR) Injector Primary Breakout is the foundational sub-harness for connecting the Haltech Nexus Universal V8 Terminated Harness to modern V8 engines. This loom section is designed to interface with the Primary set of injectors—typically the main 8 injectors on a standard V8 setup. It utilizes GT150 (USCAR) connectors, which are ubiquitous on engines like the GM LS2, LS3, LS7, LSA, LS9, as well as Ford Modular 3V/4V and Coyote V8s. By utilizing this breakout system, Haltech eliminates the need for a one-size-fits-all harness that inevitably fits poorly. Instead, you select the primary breakout that matches your specific injectors, ensuring a clean, tailored fit without the need for fragile adapters or pigtails.

Engineering & Construction

This harness section is built to rigorous motorsport standards. It features individual branch wires for each injector, protected by high-temperature sheathing and organized for logical routing along the fuel rails. The interface to the main harness is a heavy-duty, multi-pin connector that carries both the switched 12V power and the sequential injection drivers from the Nexus V5. The USCAR connectors are equipped with push-to-seat locking mechanisms and integral seals, preventing water ingress and vibration-related disconnects.
