The Nexus Universal V8 – Junior Timer (EV1) Injector Secondary Breakout allows the Haltech Nexus Universal V8 Terminated Harness to interface with classic EV1 / Junior Timer style fuel injectors. While USCAR connectors are common on modern engines, the EV1 connector remains the standard for older platforms (like the 5.0L Ford Windsor, early GM LS1) and a vast majority of high-flow aftermarket racing injectors (e.g., Siemens Deka 60lb/80lb, Bosch 1600cc). This Secondary breakout loom is designed to connect a second set of injectors in a staged injection setup or a specific bank in custom configurations. It snaps directly into the main Nexus harness trunk, providing a robust, error-free link to your fuel system without the need for clunky adapters.

Engineering & Construction

This sub-harness features the iconic rectangular EV1 connectors with the metal spring-clip release mechanism. While older in design, EV1 connectors are robust and widely available. Haltech utilizes high-quality reproductions that ensure a tight fit on the injector body. The wiring is sized to handle the current requirements of large aftermarket injectors, ensuring that the solenoid opens crisply for accurate fuel metering. The loom is finished in protective sleeving to resist abrasion against fuel rails and intake runners.
