The **Haltech Nexus PD16** is a cutting-edge Power Distribution Module designed to integrate seamlessly into the Haltech ecosystem. Acting as a remote power hub, the PD16 takes orders from your **Elite or Nexus ECU** via CAN bus to activate and protect your vehicle’s electrical components. It offers 16 programmable outputs with solid-state reliability, making it the modern replacement for the traditional fuse and relay box. **Important:** This unit is not a standalone PDM; it requires a compatible Haltech ECU to operate.

Engineering: The End of Fuses

The PD16 replaces physical fuses with virtual, programmable current limits. If a circuit exceeds its limit, the PD16 cuts power instantly to protect the wire, but can be programmed to "retry" automatically—potentially keeping a race car running where a blown fuse would end the race. The unit monitors current draw on every channel, allowing for advanced diagnostics, such as detecting a dry fuel pump (low current) or a seized fan (high current).
