Plug-in K-Series Power: Platinum PRO ECU for Honda EP3 & DC5
The Haltech Platinum PRO Plug-in ECU is the definitive engine management upgrade for the Honda Civic Type R (EP3) and Integra Type R/Acura RSX (DC5 2002-2004). This ECU completely replaces the factory computer, plugging directly into the stock wiring harness for a seamless installation. It is pre-configured to control the K20A’s i-VTEC system, including variable cam timing (VTC) and VTEC switchover, ensuring optimal performance across the rev range.
Retain Factory Features
Unlike universal ECUs, the Platinum PRO retains full functionality of the factory instrument cluster, air conditioning, and power steering systems. It features an internal MAP sensor capable of reading up to 22psi of boost, simplifying forced induction setups. While it connects directly to the factory harness, it requires an external CAN I/O 12 Expander Box to accept a Flex Fuel sensor input. This unit is the perfect balance of factory integration and standalone power for the K20 platform.
