Given that the Toyota GT-86 is naturally aspirated, selecting a supercharger instead of a turbo provides a practical, easily derivable and overall conservative yet exciting power gain over turbochargers that can exert heavy loads on the engine when under high boost levels. Power delivery is instantaneous thanks to the adoption of a 2-leaf type roots blower that provides a truly usable and effective power band. In order to provide the most optimal cooling solution for this system, Tom’s Racing has provided a water-cooled intercooler. Little no modification is required for fitment.
