Designed to suit GM, Ford, and Chrysler Small Block and Big Block engines, this harness allows you to focus on mechanical assembly and tuning rather than soldering and crimping. It is fully terminated with ECU connectors at one end and engine sensor connectors at the other, featuring the industry-standard Bosch EV1 (Jetronic) injector connectors. This harness is the bridge between your Elite 2500 ECU and your engine, supporting fully sequential fuel injection and direct fire ignition for up to 8 cylinders.
Universal V8 Architecture
This harness is designed for “universal” fitment on traditional V8 engines. It includes a comprehensive fuse block and relay center, ensuring your engine management system is electrically isolated and protected. The harness supports 8 injectors and 8 ignition coils, making it suitable for everything from a mild Ford 302 street cruiser to a twin-turbo Big Block Chevy drag car. It comes pre-wired for a Distributor/MSD ignition setup but is fully capable of supporting 8 individual coils (Direct Fire) when paired with a Haltech coil sub-harness (sold separately). The inclusion of a firewall grommet ensures a clean, sealed pass-through from the engine bay to the cabin.
Installation and Compatibility
The harness is configured for manual transmission applications. It simplifies the installation process to connecting a handful of labeled wires (Power, Ground, Switched 12V, Fuel Pump). The injector connectors are the square-style Bosch EV1 type, common on many aftermarket high-flow injectors and 80s/90s OEM applications. Note: You must confirm your alternator connector type, as adapters may be required for specific GM applications.
