Entry-Level Excellence: Elite 750 Kit for NA Miata
The Elite 750 Plug’n’Play Adaptor Harness Kit offers a cost-effective yet powerful engine management solution for the Mazda MX-5 NA (1990-1997). This kit combines the Elite 750 ECU with a vehicle-specific adaptor harness, providing a direct replacement for the factory computer. It is perfect for naturally aspirated builds or mild turbo setups where the advanced features of the 1500/2500 series are not required.
Engineering for the B6 and BP Engines
This harness is designed to interface with the 2-plug ECU header found on the 1.6L and 1.8L NA Miatas. It supports sequential injection (where wiring permits) and direct fire ignition upgrades. The kit includes an air temperature sensor for converting to Speed Density tuning, removing the restrictive AFM. Note that for 1.6L manual models, the factory TPS must be upgraded to a variable type for full functionality.
Operational Benefits
The Elite 750 provides full control over fuel and ignition maps, idle control, and basic boost control. It supports flex-fuel and CAN bus expansion for data logging. The installation is plug-and-play, reversible, and retains factory dashboard functions. It represents the best value for modernizing the electronics of a classic roadster.
