Connecting high-amperage cables to power distribution units often involves bulky ring terminals and exposed studs that are prone to accidental shorts. The SurLok Connector Set (120A) offers a modern, touch-safe alternative. These connectors are specifically specified for the Haltech Nexus R3 and PD16 Power Distribution Module, providing a secure, quick-release locking interface for the main power inputs. Rated for a continuous 120 Amps, these connectors utilize a robust pin-and-socket design that maximizes surface area contact to minimize heat generation under heavy electrical loads.

Safe and Secure Installation

The set includes one Red (Positive) and one Black (Ground) connector, color-coded to prevent catastrophic reverse-polarity mistakes during installation. They are designed to accept 4 AWG cable, the standard sizing for main power feeds in PDM setups. The SurLok system features a mechanical locking latch that prevents the cable from vibrating loose—a common failure point with standard screw terminals in race cars.
